The Columbia River
The Northwest's greatest River! Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon, and Walleye can all be caught out of the Columbia. Miles of river to fish. I concentrate on the first 100 miles, from the mouth to Bonneville Dam. I also fish above the dam, from Bonneville to The Dalles.
The Cowlitz River
Washington's number one Steelhead producer with Steelhead up to 20 lbs. Winter fishing November-January, summer fishing from June-August.
The Lewis River
Winter Steelhead November-January. Summer Steelhead June-August. Salmon (a.k.a. Silver's and/or King's) September-October, with Spring Salmon
March-May. Definitely my favorite tributary for Steelhead and Kings, as well as Silvers.
The Wind River
Spring Salmon open April 1st and runs through June 15th only. Mid-May is prime time.
